Pardo Yachts 43:
Bold Styling in a Functional Dayboat
The striking profile of the Pardo Yachts 43 is a creation of Italian atelier Zuccheri Yacht Design in Bologna, Italy, and is built by Cantiere del Pardo, an Italian builder in Forlì. The axe bow is aimed at splitting waves, while the extended sharp chines help keep spray down. The raked, curved windshield and carbon fiber T-top add protection from the elements. This is a special vessel for a special owner.

Palm Beach 50 Fly:
Good Ride in Rough Seas
It is not too often that we get a chance to test a boat in rough seas, so when we get them, we like to take advantage of them. A lot of elements go into providing a good ride in snotty conditions, and probably the two most important are bottom shape and speed. Regal 3300:
Twin 380-hp V-8s, 58.5 MPH WOT
We’ve come to expect 50 mph speeds in modern bowriders, even larger ones like the Regal 3300. But this 11,400-lb. (5,171 kg), 21-degree deadrise hull considerably exceeded expectations in our test runs, powered with the optional twin 380-hp direct-injection aluminum-block Volvo Penta 6.2L V-8s. She topped out at 58.5 mph, impressive in an open-bow boat with tower and seating for up to 18. Hole shots were also very strong at just under 3 seconds—no doubt the Duo-Prop drives were a factor.

Sea-Doo Fish Pro:
New PWC Fishing Machine
The Sea-Doo Fish Pro turns a PWC into a shallow-water fishing boat by adding an 11.5” (29.2 cm) extension to the stern, allowing placement of a large Linq cooler with four vertical rod holders there—the cooler can function as a baitwell or fishbox as well as an ice chest. A Garmin Echomap Plus 62 cv Fishfinder/GPS is standard on the console, and the Rotax 1503 jet system includes a trolling mode for low-speed operation.
