Captain's Report

The Hunt Ocean 63 has the classic lines we would expect from the company that bears the famous designer’s name.

Hunt Yachts has introduced its Ocean 63, a flying bridge yacht designed for extended cruising. She has a Ray Hunt designed hull bottom and the attention to detail for which the folks at Hunt Yachts are known.

Fully Custom

With twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350s pushing her to a top speed of 31 knots and a cruise of 26 knots, the boat can venture offshore comfortably.

The flying bridge helm has a conventional layout with dual screens and a five-spoke stainless-steel steering wheel.

The aft cockpit looks spacious and inviting and the teak-and-holley decking adds a touch of class.

Interior wood selections include cherry, teak or mahogany and the company will customize the motoryacht to the buyer’s preferences. Belowdecks layouts with up to four cabins plus crew quarters are available as is the choice between galley up or down.

Hunt Yachts Ocean 63 Salon

Notice the height of the side windows and the overall headroom that give the salon a spacious, open feel.

She measures 69’6” (21.28 m) overall with an 18’ (4.49 m) beam and a draft of 4’2” (1.27 m). Displacement is listed at 78,000 lbs (35,380.20 kg) and fuel capacity is 1,000 gallons (3,875.41 liters) while she carries 300 gallons (1,135.62 liters) of freshwater.
