Finland’s Axopar Boats has been celebrating the company’s first 10 years with dealers from around the world. In total, some 120 dealers from 65 dealerships took part in a three-day event held recently in Port Calanova on Mallorca, Spain.

“Our most important message is what we’ve achieved during these 10 years,” says Jan-Erik Viitala, founding partner at Axopar Boats. “But what most of our dealers want to know is what’s coming for the next 10 years in terms of new products and other news.”

During the celebration dealers and partners were able to test drive several Axopar boats, including the new Axopar 29 as well as the Brabus Marine 1200 – all boats equipped with Mercury outboards.

“It was a lot of boat driving. We are a family working together and when we get our dealers from all over the world gathered, we can be totally open and transparent during our workshops where we discuss trends and further development. We also talk about what our dealers want in terms of everything from boat development to service and support for the coming season,” Viitala says.

Viitala promises more news to come for the rest of 2024. “We will launch a bunch of new products and other news, including how Axopar Boats will expand in the future,” he says. “At boot Düsseldorf this year I promised that there will not be just one party and that really is the case. More will come at the Cannes Yachting Festival and at the boat show in Ft Lauderdale this autumn.”

Axopar has good representation on Mallorca through a cooperation with Patric Polch and Boote Polch, based in Port Calanova. Agapi Boat Club and Weboat Club are located in the same harbour.
