Schaefer Yachts 400:
Express Cruiser Designed for a Party

Schaefer Yachts 400
Schaefer Yachts 400

The Schaefer Yachts 400 features bold sportboat styling along with practical features that will make her useful for day boating parties and long weekends. The large swim platform includes an aft section that lowers hydraulically to become a teak beach or to ease a PWC or dinghy into the water. Teak boarding stairs fold flush when not in use and there's a four-step stainless swim ladder. The standard sun roof opens at a touch and the standard arch provides a mount for antennas and the horn. Twin Volvo Penta D-4 300 sterndrives pushed her to a top speed of 34.3 knots. While at a 3000-rpm cruise, she ran 27.2 knots and had a range of about 234 NM. Take a closer look here...

Hargrave 116 Raised Pilothouse:
Ready for Charter w/ a Crew of 7

Hargrave 116 Raised Pilothouse
Hargrave 116 Raised Pilothouse

The Hargrave 116 Raised Pilothouse is a yacht well-suited to the charter business as she provides a luxury cruising platform for the owner and lots of guests. She is designed to be fully crewed, with the crew kept discreetly separate from guests except when necessary for service functions. The crew can reach the galley via a private door from their forward quarters or from a door to the exterior walkway. The forward crew area berths four in two en suites plus a larger en suite captain’s cabin, seen here, finished to the same level of luxury as the rest of the yacht. A private access door from the crew area allows access to all the down staterooms for servicing. There are smaller en suite crew’s quarters at the stern, an ideal spot for an engineer and a guest pilot, perhaps. More...

Formula 310 Bowrider:
Twin Mercury Racing 400s, 54.5 MPH WOT

Formula 310 Bowrider
Formula 310 Bowrider

Formula’s 310 Bowrider is available in outboard power and, as is expected from this performance-oriented brand, the sky is pretty much the limit. We tested a version equipped with Mercury Racing 400 Verados turning 14 x 17 Rev4 props and she spooled up a max of 54.5 mph at 6600 rpm. This sporty bowrider is obviously not about economical long-range cruising but at a cruise speed of 29.1 mph at 4000 rpm, she delivered 1.5 mpg – not bad at all for an 11,000-lb. (4,989 kg) package. Note how the Mercs are painted to match the boat, part of the FormulaFlex program that allows buyers a pretty much unlimited palate of color and design when they spec out their boat. More...

Sea-Doo Fish Pro:
Geared Up for Fishing — and for Fun

Sea-Doo Fish Pro
Sea-Doo Fish Pro

The Sea-Doo Fish Pro is set up for fishing, obviously, but pull off the LinQ cooler and rod/gear holder on the extended aft deck and she’s a large, sporty PWC that can provide an exciting ride for up to three. The 155-hp Rotax 1503 jet system provides near instant hole shots and top speeds in the 50s as well as the usual PWC ability to corner on a dime and jump large waves with ease. She also has an 18.5-gallon (70 L) fuel tank compared to the standard 15.9 gallons (60 L), giving her extended range, whether for fishing or joy-riding. More...

Robalo R317:
A Cockpit Made for Entertaining

Robalo R317
Robalo R317

The Robalo R317 is all about entertaining a crowd — check out the two-tone seating in the aft cockpit. A table fits into the base on the port side seat. This table stows in a dedicated slide-out drawer under the port seat aft. It can also be moved to a fitting in the bow seating area. The hullside door makes boarding from a floating dock easy. It also serves as a dive door, allowing access for swimmers, and as a “tuna door” when big game fishing is on the agenda. A stainless-steel ladder fits into the grommets just off the floor for easy reboarding. More...
