Sirena 58:
Max Cube Has Advantages

Sirena 58
Sirena 58

The Sirena 58 features lots of deck space everywhere on the boat, even on her swim platform which is wider than her beam. A near vertical plumb bow provides the room for one of the best forward cabins on the market. Her salon is surrounded in glass, and there is even a crew cabin in the stern. Her narrow forefoot slices through waves and does not pound, and because her superstructure and top hamper are made of carbon fiber, her CG is lowered for greater stability. More...

Yamaha FX Limited SVHO
Yamaha FX Limited SVHO

The Yamaha FX Limited SVHO is the company’s new top-of-the-line PWC and she’s fully loaded from bow to stern. She’s large (140.9” LOA with three full-sized seats) and muscular (1.8-liter, supercharged and intercooled 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, Super Vortex High Output (SVHO) marine engine) and relatively heavy at about 1,182 pounds complete with a tank of fuel. It promises a more solid ride in a chop than many lighter machines. That weight does not bog her down; Captain Steve recorded amazing 0-30 times averaging 1.5 seconds. Top speeds well over a mile a minute are possible—see the video for our results. More...

Galeon 500 Fly
Galeon 500 Fly

Owners of the Galeon 500 Fly can have their own floating bar and restaurant – both with exceedingly intimate waterfront views. The side bulwarks fold down, and the super structure windows fold up, permitting a counter to fold out and two bar stools to be put in place on the port side. The transom settee, table and a round section of deck swivel 180-degrees to create dining for two facing the sea, aft, instead of the boat’s salon door. More...

Well-Designed Engine Room

Cheoy Lee CLA 76 Flybridge
Cheoy Lee CLA 76 Flybridge

The engine room of the Cheoy Lee CLA 76 Flybridge is one of the most comfortable and owner-friendly engine rooms we have seen in class. The twin Caterpillar C18 ACERTs are placed 42” (106.7 cm) apart, which is unusually wide for a boat this size. There’s also 35 ½” (.90 m) above the engines, and the overhead is 6’6” (1.98 m). The rugged powder-coated safety rails keep crew from falling against a hot engine. There’s even a sink for washing up a bit after daily engine checks. More...
