Jeanneau Leader 10.5
Jeanneau Leader 10.5

The Leader 10.5 is designed for entertaining guests by day, and with accommodations for four adults, she can be a fun weekend escape. She is also not afraid of choppy offshore conditions. Note the double step Michael Peters-designed bottom which has what he calls a “tunnel” aft. Read our report for a full description. More...

Ocean Alexander 85 Motoryacht:
Party Up or Party Down

Ocean Alexander 85 Motoryacht
Ocean Alexander 85 Motoryacht

With its day galley and wet bar, flip down 32" TV, A/V system, and granite surface bar with five swiveling stools, the flying bridge of the Ocean Alexander 85 Motoryacht takes full advantage of her 20’1” (6.12 m) beam to welcome a party. The boat deck aft can easily be cleared via the standard 1,750-lb (794 kg) hydraulic davit for larger gatherings. With the tender launched, and the davit swung aft, partying deck space can be increased by nearly one-third. The forward portion of the bridge can be fully enclosed in a “Sky Lounge” version, as well. More...

Robalo R302:
Hydro-Lift Hull Built to Take a Beating

Robalo R302
Robalo R302

The hulls of high-speed offshore boats take an incredible beating, often launching completely out of the water before crashing back into the next wave. It takes a toll on all but those strongly built, like the updated Robalo R302. The “Hydro-Lift” variable deadrise hull of the 302 is hand-laid using bi- and tri-axial fiberglass. Adding to the strength is Kevlar reinforcement. Composite corings in stringers and decks add strength and reduce weight. Add the poured ceramic composite transom, and it’s easy to see how Robalo can provide a 10-year warranty. More...

Leopard 43 PC:
Cat That Sleeps 10 Lives

Leopard 43 PC
Leopard 43 PC

The Leopard 43 PC has a maximum beam of 22’1” (6.73 m), which compares favorably to some monohull yachts more than twice her length. That much width not only adds a huge amount of usable space—she can be outfitted with up to four staterooms plus two smaller bunks for crew or grandkids in the twin bows. This 10-sleeper design is ideal for a charter boat, where the cost of the boat can be split among four couples. Deck hands or a nanny can sleep forward. More...

Yamaha AR195:
The Innovative Stern Refined Again

Yamaha AR195
Yamaha AR195

Yamaha introduced the two-seat stern design concept at the Miami boat show over a decade ago – and it is more popular now than ever before, and much copied. The latest version of the Yamaha AR195 includes a re-designed stern seating arrangement, walkthrough transom notch, and reboarding ladder tucked under the platform. The center hatch allows easy, safe access to the impeller system just beneath the wet storage for cleanouts, with an automatic shutoff killing the engine anytime the hatch is raised. Rubberized non-skid offers cushioned seating as well as making for safe passage with bare feet. More...
