Crossover Bowrider w/Twin Outboards

New Cruisers Yachts 338 OB
New Cruisers Yachts 338 OB

The Cruisers Yachts 338 OB is the company’s first outboard-powered model, but probably won’t be the last. Powered with twin Mercury 350 Verados, she ran 53.8 mph in our tests this summer and planed in 4 seconds. She’s a handsome, multi-functional bowrider that can be loaded up with friends and family – up to 16, according to our count — and can accommodate trips to a remote destination for overnights in a cabin with standup headroom and a full head. Hatteras Hull Construction:
Possibly the Strongest Boats in Class

Hatteras Hull Construction
Hatteras Hull Construction

Hatteras hulls are exceptionally rigid and durable thanks to resin-infused construction, solid glass laminate below the waterline, robust stringers and frames, integral tankage in the bottom of the boat, and PVC foam in the topsides for stiffness. The process keeps weight down, the CG low, and provides welcome insulation in living areas. By keeping the hull rigid, in rough seas bulkheads, exhaust risers, windows, and doors will all keep their shape and stay intact. More...

Boston Whaler 345 Conquest
Boston Whaler 345 Conquest

The Boston Whaler 345 Conquest is intended to take on long runs offshore after big game fish, even in challenging weather. Powered with triple 300-hp Mercury Verados, we recorded a top speed of 50.0 mph/43.5 knots. At a comfortable 4000 rpm and 22.0 knots, she has a range of 254 nautical miles (470.4 km), with a 10% fuel reserve. That puts Nassau and the Tongue of the Ocean within easy reach from Miami. She sleeps four below. The tower is optional, but once experienced, it’s hard to resist. Did we say she’s nearly indestructible? More...
