The Yellowfin 24 CE, powered with the all-new, naturally aspirated Mercury Verado 300, delivered a top speed of 65.4 mph and a time-to-plane of 4 seconds in our test. The new high-torque outboards weigh 35 pounds (15.9 kg) less than the 300-hp Verado outboards they replaced and have smaller exterior dimensions, though the 4.6-liter displacement is far greater. Plus, the outboard has advanced features for intuitive operation and a design that simplifies maintenance.

The Greenline 40 Hybrid is available with a hybrid propulsion system that uses electric motors linked to the diesels via a hydraulic-clutch system. The motors function as generators when the boat is using diesel propulsion, charging a bank of lithium polymer batteries. An array of photovoltaic cells built into the hardtop provides power for all ship’s systems including A/C while at anchor.
