Sessa Marine Challenges the Imagination

With an ethic of excellence and family (3rd generation) pride, Sessa has carved out an esoteric niche in the boating world.

The President of Sessa Marine, Mrs. Raffaelaa Radice, is a woman with a vision.

A Brief History

The forerunner of the marine operation was started in 1958 molding plastics and quickly moved into glass reinforced polyester resins. In 1972 Sessa marine started building small production fiberglass boats with bold colors. During the early years the company earned a reputation for innovation and quality. The production facility is located in north central Italy in the heart of the lake region.

In 1988 the company acquired Fyberstamp, which specialized in the production of big hulls for shipyards, and Sessa Marine evolved into building larger and more prestigious boats.

Today, Sessa Marine builds over one thousand boats a year, claims sales growth of 26% in the last year, and employees over 300 people. In 2006 the company established a sales office in Dania Beach, Florida.

Company Philosophy:

“Never ending improvement, so called "Kaizen" by the Japanese, is for Sessa Marine a priority and one of the main guidelines for our internal organization. Improvement for the product, for processing, and for the personnel professional growth are part of the company’s politic and one of the foremost choice of investment. Motivated employees, professionally prepared and fond of their job: this is a philosophy to which all belong. Sessa Marine dedicates important resources to workers coaching, as whoever contributes to creating a quality and excellent product, must in turn be themselves, in the first place, excellent.”
