Mercury Marine Verado 350:
Supercharged Four-Stroke Muscle

Mercury Marine Verado 350
Mercury's Verado 350 is about 100 lbs. (45 lbs.) lighter than its competition, which means as much as 400 lbs. (181 kg) in a quad rig.

The Mercury Marine Verado 350 is built on the same 2.6 liter (159 CID) in-line six-cylinder block as the 300, but feature changes in electronic mapping, air induction, valves and cam lift among other tweaks to boost the horsepower. This supercharged 4-stroke engine weighs 668 lbs. (303 kg), giving a good horsepower-to-weight ratio, and Mercury says 89 octane fuel is approved for use, though 91 is preferred. A 5.44" lower unit billet holds the heavier gears necessary to harness all of the horsepower and stay reliable in rugged offshore abuse. More...

Sunseeker 75 Yacht:
Rooms With a View

Sunseeker 75 Yacht
Large hullside windows let lots of light into the staterooms below decks on the Sunseeker 75 Yacht. Each cabin has an opening port with a screen and shade.

The elegant Sunseeker 75 Yacht offers four staterooms with en suite heads, plus crew quarters. On the main deck she has perhaps the largest salon in class as well as a formal dining area. Two horseshoe-shaped lounges plus a large sun pad adjacent to the helm give the flybridge plenty of seating options. Couch seating on the bow plus a giant sunlounge will make this a popular spot when the boat is at anchor or easing along the ICW. More...

Bayliner 215 DB:
Value-Priced Deckboat w/ Eye Appeal

Bayliner 215 DB
The bow of the Bayliner 215 DB offers roomy storage compartments to either side of a concealed three-step reboarding ladder.

The Bayliner 215 DB is a deckboat with seating for 12, but in profile she has lines approaching a sporty runabout. As well as the "U"-shaped seating in the bow, the three across seating at the stern makes a popular place to hang out. A large 2’ (.6 m) extended swim platform added to the 14” (35.6 cm) molded platform is a optional feature, a big plus in a value-priced boat that will be used regularly for watersports by most families. Beneteau Oceanis 45:
Versatility in Layout and Mission

Beneteau Oceanis 45
Both helm stations on the Beneteau Oceanis 45 hug the outward bulwark, allowing for increased visibility and convenience under sail.

The Beneteau Oceanis 45 can be used for day sailing, weekending, and long-term cruising. Her cockpit and rigging are designed for easy access from the helm when short-handed, and the high mainsail sheet block arch keeps movement in the cockpit unhindered and safe. The hard chine hull design results in a greater beam with slightly increased space both on deck and below. More...

Boston Whaler 315 Conquest Pilothouse:
Four-Season Bluewater Angler

Boston Whaler
There's 59 sq. ft. of cockpit space for swinging a rod or handling a net aboard the Boston Whaler 315 Conquest Pilothouse, and the enclosed helm makes her a four-season fisherman.

The Boston Whaler 315 Conquest Pilothouse is, not surprisingly, loaded with serious fishing features. There are large in-deck fishboxes to port and starboard, both macerated for easy cleanup, and standard raw water washdown as well as a fresh water shower hose helps with this chore. Toe rails and cockpit coaming bolsters make it easier to winch in heavy fish. At the port quarter, a standard insulated and aerated livewell with rounded edges and blue interior keeps bait lively. Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 H.O.:
G2 Advanced Engineering

Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 H.O.
The engineering inside the Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 H.O. is as impressive as the striking profile, with advances in everything from steering to shifting to electrical generation.

The Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 H.O. combines a light weight (for a 200-horse outboard) of just 558 lbs. (253 kg) with lots of low-end torque and direct-injection fuel efficiency. The engine can become a style feature of any boat thanks to some 400 available combinations of color in the removable side, top and front panels. The integral power steering, with no exposed tubes or rams, creates a much cleaner installation as well as eliminating a potential corrosion magnet. Electronic shifting eliminates the "clunk" common in some systems, and a magneto delivers up to 133 Amps to supply all electrical needs aboard. More...

Formula 350 Crossover Bowrider:
Bowrider w/ High-Performance DNA

Formula 350 Crossover Bowrider
The Formula 350 Crossover Bowrider is one of the largest bowriders-with-cabin on the market. She also has the company's signature gleaming exterior finish.

Powered by twin MerCruiser 8.2 H.O. V8s and with a tested weight over 15,000 lbs (6,804 kg)., the Formula 350 Crossover Bowrider is no lightweight, but our test captain reports she handles like a smaller sportboat. She carves sharp turns with controlled banking, and wake-jumping produced no hammering thanks to the 21-degree deadrise. The windshield stayed dry throughout test maneuvers. More...

The Four Winns H290 is a jumbo bowrider that adds compact cabin space below as well as a separate enclosed head compartment. Chaparral H2O 21 Ski & Fish:
Multi-Purposing with Style and Value

Chaparral H2O 21 Ski & Fish
Move this swiveling chair to the bow of the Chaparral H2O 21 Ski & Fish within reach of the Minn Kota trolling motor and she becomes a very credible fishing rig, in addition to functioning as a comfortable and handsome runabout and ski platform.

The Chaparral H2O 21 Ski & Fish looks more ski than fish, but she combines all of the necessities for angling into her 21'' (6.40 m) LOA. Locking rod boxes keep the tackle handy but out of sight, and two swiveling seats that reside in the cockpit can quickly be moved to the bow and stern to function as casting chairs. The Minn Kota electric trolling motor is standard, as is the 70 quart aerated livewell under the aft bench seat. A swim platform, sun pad and ski tow-eye add versatility to this value-priced package. We tested the Tracker Targa V-20 WT with a 225-hp OptiMax Pro XS 2-stroke turning a 14 5/8” x 19” Tempest three-blade stainless steel propeller. Grady-White Freedom 375:
50 MPH Offshore Fishing Machine

Grady-White Freedom 375
Lots of freeboard and a Carolina flare should keep most spray off the windshield of the Grady-White Freedom 375, even when she's on a mission far offshore.

Powered by three 300-hp Yamaha outboards, the Grady-White Freedom 375 delivered a WOT top-end with a maximum of 50.0 mph in our test runs -- thus approaching sportboat levels in a fully-loaded bluewater fishing boat that weighs almost 18,000 lbs. (8,165 kg). Fuel consumption is interesting -- she gets 1.0 mpg at 2500, 3000 and 3500 rpms, providing a broad "sweet spot" to allow the captain to deal with varying sea conditions. And even at 4000 and 4500 rpms, the economy drops only to 0.9 mpg. The company says she can lose one engine and still get home at better than 20 knots, a big safety factor for those who operate far offshore. More...
