Maritimo M58:
Fuel-Efficient Enclosed Bridge

Maritimo M58
The Maritimo M58 is immediately recognizable on the water due to her large enclosed flying bridge, which functions as a pilothouse and an additional salon.

In keeping with the company's reputation, the Maritimo M58 proved to be an efficient boat in our test runs, in part thanks to her beam-to-length ratio, created by keeping the former in the 17’ (5.2 m) range. Top speed came in at 30.1 knots at 2380 rpm. At that speed the fuel burn was 79.5 gph, which translates to a range of 450 nm. Best cruising speed came in at 1750 rpm and 18 knots, reducing the fuel burn to 37 gph and opening up the range to 578 nautical miles -- both ranges have a built-in 10% reserve and both ranges are significant for this class of boat. Sea Ray 21 SPX:
Entry-Level Runabout with Sea Ray Style

Sea Ray 21 SPX
The Sea Ray 21 SPX combines functionality, usability, and good aesthetic styling in a safe, durable runabout that's value-priced with outboard or sterndrive power.

Striking graphics and a low-profile windshield with black frame as well as style lines running from bow to stern make the Sea Ray 21 SPX a handsome runabout. The traditional aft sun pad becomes a convertible transom seat, while the forward section of the pad can be raised to create a reclining seat back. More...

Evinrude E-TEC G2 250 HP:
Engineered to Last

Evinrude E-TEC G2 250 HP
In addition to all its high-tech engineering features, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 offers 5 standard cowling panel colors and 14 accent decal options to integrate the engine with any boat color and styling.

The Evinrude E-TEC G2 250, like all engines in the new series, features electronic shift, eliminating problems inherent in cable controls, rods, and linkage. An 81-degree tilt – more than any other outboard on the market -- assures the lower unit can be stowed completely out of the water on a large variety of transoms. Owner maintenance is simplified by easy access -- a transparent sight tube allows a quick look at level and clarity of the gear case lube, for example. More...

Robalo R305:
Crossover 29'2" Express

Robalo R305
The Robalo R305 is the flagship of the company's four boat walkaround lineup, designed to serve as a crossover between family cruising and fishing with a bit of overnight thrown in.

The Robalo R305 delivered impressive performance in our test runs. Powered by twin 300 Yamahas, she had a time to plane of 3.5 seconds, reached 20 mph in 5.6 seconds, 30 mph in 8.6 seconds, 40 mph in 12.5 seconds and continued accelerating through 50 mph in 22.4 seconds. Once underway, our test captain reports, she settles into a 7.5-degree bow high attitude and it only took a couple touches of up trim to get her into the cruising attitude. More...

Yamaha 242 Limited S:
Agile Jetboat with Twin Power

Yamaha 242 Limited S
Yamaha's 242 Limited S has the general line of a stylish inboard runabout, but twin jet power and her unique “Articulating Keel” delivers a crisp, responsive ride that may change the way many boaters will look at jet boats.

The most notable feature of Yamaha's 242 Limited S is a dihedral keel, culminating at the stern with an articulating appendage measuring approximately 11” long, 6.5” tall, 0.5” wide (thickness). Acting in concert with the motion of the jet nozzles, this rudder-like extension enhances overall ride stability as well as the low and high speed turning of the hull, giving it a striking advantage over most jets. Compact, But Comfortable Trawler

Beneteau Swift 34
The Beneteau Swift 34 is a compact trawler design capable of extended cruises without refueling, thanks to an economical single diesel Cummins QSB 5.9.

The Beneteau Swift 34 fits a lot of cruising potential into a 36' (10.97 m) length, and her range at displacement speeds was impressive in our tests, at more than 500 miles at 7 knots. The layout makes boat-handling easy for a single-handing captain. She has two cabins and one head -- all with full standing headroom. Exceptionally low noise levels both at idle and at speed were an unexpected bonus. More...

Bluewater Dual Console with Comfort Extras

Grady-White Freedom 307

Quality touches are abundant, including an electrically-actuated, dual-wide helm seat with split bolsters as standard. Bow seating is equally plush, with two forward-facing chaises and space for a cocktail table -- or all these accessories can be left at the docks and the area becomes the best casting spot in the boat. Mercury 4.2L TDI Diesel:
Clean, Lightweight V8 Diesel

Mercury 4.2L TDI Diesel
Mercury's 4.2L TDI Diesel is a lightweight, clean burning V8 engine available in two output configurations, 335 and 370 horsepower. It meets newer, stricter EPA Tier 3 requirements for smoke and emissions standards.

The source of much of the power in Mercury's 4.2L TDI Diesel is a pair of water-cooled turbochargers that use variable turbine geometry (VTG). The variable-pitch vanes in the turbo allow it to spool up sooner, providing boost at a lower rpm and greater torque when needed to get the boat on plane. Two raw water intercoolers, one for each bank, then cool the hot boosted air. Vermicular graphite casting of the block along with aluminum heads help to cut weight. More...

A three-way sun lounge/chaise spans the aft cockpit, and bow seating is exceptionally deep and secure. The wrap-around swim platform is 13'' off the water, effectively extending the "dry deck" area. Scarab 195 HO:
Jetboat Performance, PWC Thrills

Scarab 195 HO
The Scarab 195 HO is designed to offer customers the thrill of jet boat handling and performance along with creature comforts.

The Scarab 195 HO offers sporty handling in an exciting styling package, with jetboat maneuverability and safety thanks to Rotax power. Seating space in the squared-off bow is considerably larger than most of the 195 HO’s competitors in this size range. The “versa lounge” seating converts the stern seating from aft-facing seats to a flat sun lounge, and the walkthrough turns the seat backs into arm rests. This makes the stern seating the most versatile location on the boat. More...
