Dear BoatTest Team
I thought I’d share this picture from a few years ago for your “Where in the world” photo section.
This is our faithful 27 year old Fraser (made in Perth, Western Australia) anchored in Myall Lake, about 220 km north of Sydney (32.24.967S, 152.27.350E). Myall Lake is the northernmost in a chain of beautiful lakes, which joins up with the meandering Myall River and eventually flows south into Port Stephens, a renowned center of game fishing, dolphin and whale watching. The Myall Lakes area is almost all national park, with abundant wildlife (yes, lots of kangaroos!), birdlife (including beautiful black swans) and almost no other people or boats. Even though the Lakes are almost freshwater, we occasionally see a pod of dolphins which comes up the river from Port Stephens. A truly wonderful place.
Incidentally, I have recently replaced the old 140 Evinrude on the Fraser with a new Merc 150 Four Stroke. What an engine!
Love your website. Thanks for all your hard work.
