Brief Summary
With few exceptions, such as the bass boat crowd, the days of manufacturers building uni-tasking boats seems to be a thing of the past. As far as we’re concerned, that’s not bad news. We’ve reported numerous times that sportfishing boats are, more often than not, being used for cruising. In fact, Tiara was one of the first builders to recognize that fact years ago. Thus was born their Sovran line of cruising boats. But Tiara’s Tournament open line, which started it all in the early 1980s, stayed popular among fishy people and many of the cheese and Brie crowd stayed with the opens, as well. Moreover, during the last decade or so Tiara has become a brand recognized and respected around the world. So with customers all over the world, all with a slightly different individual mission, what was a builder who aimed to please do?
