Captain's Report

The 260CC has some unique features that put her at the head of the EdgeWater fleet. For center console fans the 260 is one tough player when it comes to performance and her fishing features and rugged performance will show you that she can keep up with the big boys out in the canyons. For starters there’s a large fishbox, and an 18-gallon livewell built into the full-height transom cap. A handy feature on the boat is a tuna door, which gives the fishermen easy access when hauling in a trophy-size fish. Twin pedestal seats are standard, but most fishermen will opt for the leaning post workstation, which includes a bait-rigging station, livewell, and added rodholders. Belowdecks there’s a large V-berth, plenty of stowage space, and a head as part of the compartment. With this feature you’ll be worry free when you’re miles offshore and nature calls. The 260CC has been built to last with top-of the-line construction, and her deep-V design helps her slice right through the chop, while giving her optimum performance in most conditions. Out on the test track, we recorded a blistering top speed of 59.6 mph at 5600 rpm, and our best cruise was 30.3 mph at 3000 rpm. She hopped on plane in just 3.8 seconds, and with her 200-gallon fuel tank she can cover about 476 miles. With good offshore performance and overnight capability, the 260 has a lot to offer. In addition, all boats in the EdgeWater line are foam filled and virtually unsinkable. Knowing this will make a world of a difference in your confidence when you’re chasing after the big ones 50 miles offshore. For more information call (904)427-9783 or visit www.ewboats.com.
