The bridge deck is large on this 33-footer provides a wet bar and plenty of room for entertaining. The helmsman has good visibility forward.
The table’s height can be adjusted with a push of a button that controls an electric pedestal that raises or lowers the table from eating height to coffee-table level, or down to the level of the dinette seats, where the table becomes the base for a berth created with filler cushions that match the dinette seats.
Larson has turned the bow area of this day cruiser into a clubby lounge for drinks or dinner. The table automatically retracts providing the base for filler cushions if you want to make this area into a bed.
A compact wet bar/galley area is to port, and features a black cultured-granite counter top and matching cover for a two-burner range. The sink insert is polished stainless steel. Fontana plumbing fixtures, imported from Italy, are featured in the galley and throughout the Cabrio 330 Day Cruiser. Other galley features include a built-in microwave and coffee maker, a refrigerator/freezer with stainless steel door, and a wine chiller.
Adjacent to the bow lounge is the galley on the port side. Note the wine cooler with blue lights, the microwave and stainless steel refer. Larson’s decorations are all the style of the moment, yet classic meaning this interior should be ageless.
The head compartment is full-size, featuring a stand-up shower, a vessel sink, cultured granite counter, and black Sealand VacuFlush head. The recessed mid-cabin area is open to the main cabin and can be used as another lounge area, or converted to a full-size berth.
The head has an optional shower which is ok on a 33-footer, but how are you going to keep the toilet paper dry? Note in the lower left-hand corner of the picture the recessed drain actually forms a drain sump to avid standing water. This is the best we’ve seen.
While the aft cabin area is pretty much the same on all boats of this size and type, note the classy appearance of the vinyl teak and holly cabin sole and the earth-tone fabrics. You can see the stanchion base for a table and it makes into a bed.
The Larson 330 Cabrio is a Day Cruiser and in this picture you can see the bridge deck will comfortably seat 10 people. All you need is a canvas top.
Full marks to Larson for their design and decoration ingenuity. See the boat on display at the Miami Boat Show.
