The “Monster Energy” Tour was kicked off last weekend in Younghusband, Australia. Our question is, “Could a Tige’ be considered a cougar?” Cougars on the hunt could be a scary thing. Of course Downunder it is pretty hard to frighten Aussie boatmen because they all carry big knives in their belts for opening a frosty Fosters in an emergency. In any case the wakeboard dudes at Tigé are making a 16-city tour (including cool places like Warrawonga and Narrabean) that will involve over 300 wakeboarders. Sounds like fun to us.

In the land of ‘Roos Tigés are on the prowl in what is being called the “Monster Energy” Tour. The Tigé RZ2 shown here is the main attraction, after the cougars, and is the baddest boat in Australia, according to dudes hanging there.

Headed up by TeamTigé’s John Henson and Daniel Watkins, along with Scotty Broome and Brenton Priestley, the tour is spreading the wakeboarding love to anyone and everyone in their tracks. In tow is a 2010 Tigé RZ2, the flagship twenty-two foot boat with a seating capacity of 15 people and a 1,000 liter ballast system as standard (in Australian spec), this wake-churning beast is set to give all wakeboarders a pro-level experience. The RZ2 also has the revolutionary TigéTouch, a new feature in the 2010 boats allowing the driver to control all operations of the boat at the touch of a screen.
The ProWake Academy on the Gold Coast is on the road with the Monster Energy Tigé Tour and head coach John Henson will be on-hand at every event to make sure every rider is pushing their personal progression during every set. When asked to mention a highlight of the upcoming schedule, he simply laughed and said “check out the boat to start with, it’s the baddest-looking boat in Australia with the best engineering behind it.”
The backing of Monster Energy takes us on the best Tigé Tour to date, including Chad Reeds Monster Energy Super X Series where the boat will be on the in field of the stadium at Sydney and Brisbane and we get to support some really cool local events in Australia stopping in at YHK this weekend at Younghusband (SA), Doonstock at Bonnie Doon (Vic) and the Tigé Owners Reunion in Grafton (NSW)”.
In addition to the experience of the riders who will be on the tour, Reeds went on to say “we have heaps of giveaways for everyone along the way and the best companies in the industry flowing us gear for everyone. It’s definitely going to be an experience of a lifetime”.
There are limited spots on the Monster Energy Tigé Tour with bookings filling up many of the locations already. To book your spot reserved act quick by phoning 1300PROWAKE or email tigetour@tigeboats.com.au

In Australia the Tigé RZ2 is well known for going uphill faster than a speeding platypus.
