PowerTech! Propeller

Propeller BoatTEST.com has tested many boat and motor combinations that utilize PowerTech! Props and has come to expect higher performance results. With so many variables we strongly recommend you carefully research which prop will be best for your boat and engine combination as well as how you use your boat.

Description

PowerTech! Stainless Steel Propellers are cast in one integral piece in a ceramic mold. This process is an advancement that is used by all engine manufacturers in addition to a few leading propeller manufacturers. The extra expense associated with this process justified by the improved and superior quality of the final product when compared to the less expensive "weld-on blade" process. PowerTech! Is committed to providing boaters the most highly engineered stainless props available and is constantly seeking to improve designs and materials to meet the ever changing demands of the industry.

For more detailed information on individual props, please visit the PowerTech! website or contact one of the experts by phone.

My apologies for the multiple posts, below, Mr. Kraemer. Please read the preceeding posts from bottom to top. The 500 character minimum make a thorough explanation a bit cumbersome.Thank you, again, sir.Marcus

That way, the customer can dial their rig in to their liking and are not stuck with a propeller that doesn’t make them happy.I thank you, again, for your interest, Mr. Kraemer. If we can be of further service, please, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be delighted to welcome you to the PowerTech! family. Marcus ClementsMarketing ManagerPowerTech! As stated in the video, this is why we encourage folks to contact us with THEIR boat’s information, as well as, THEIR particular wishes, wants, and needs. We feel that this two-way conversation is necessary, if the new propeller is going to meet each customer’s particular expectations. In order to ensure that PowerTech!’s customer’s expectations are met, we go one step further to offer a 30-day pitch exchange for a nominal fee. (cont.)

As for improving your fuel economy simply by changing a propeller, yes, this is certainly possible, and something we do quite often, actually. That said, to say that we can absolutely do so without first knowing details about YOUR present propeller, YOUR set-up, the conditions and loads under which YOU run YOUR boat, and YOUR present performance data would be misleading, at best, and at worst, dishonest. (cont.)
M.Clements 6/27/2008 5:06:30 PM
There would be nothing in the world wrong with changing propellers on any application, as long as the propeller that is chosen is appropriate for, both, the motor and the boat. By making sure that it is appropriate in all respects, there would be no change necessary to the motor's electronics. (cont.)

Thank you ever so much for your time and your comments, Mr. Kraemer. We apologize for the delay in responding, as we did not anticipate propeller questions would be addressed on this site, sir. Instead, we usually expect them to come to our phone lines, website and E-mail addresses (see below). That said, we would be delighted to give you a brief answer here, and encourage you to contact us for a more in-depth conversation. (cont.)

Recently, I purchased a 2501 Trophy with an installed Mercury Verado 275 outboard. The boat dealership warned me not to, change the prop. Based on the information providedby this ad, the engine fuel econmy could be improved by 20% if I change to your five blade prop? What is your side to this story? Would it be necessary to change or adjust the electronics setting for this engine; when, replacing the current prop with the five blade (cruise?economy) version?
