OK, when launching, check the plug twice. You forgot to mention removing the plug when pulling out so you don't get a boat full of water when it rains. ...and don't forget to remove aquatic weeds before and after launching to keep them from spreading to other waters.

I agree with the comments on the trailer being to deep for alignment especially if there is any wind and the boat is anything taller then a low profile bass boat. There isn't a ramp in northern California that you want to unhook the book from trailer winch, I have seen far to many boats sitting on the ramp less trailer and then you really do tie up the ramp for everyone else. Now show us how to launch and retieve our boats alone!I would never back my truck wheels into the waterso my brakes could get wet!

On my boat, the fenders need to be at waterline, or barely under it for the boat to go on trailer properly. I have no problem seeing the fenders.
C.Sevidal 4/8/2009 4:31:18 PM
The fenders on the trailer must be above the water. otherwise the boat will not lineup properly. You may want to redo this video.

agreed: the boat would be floating above the trailer that way; plus the video doesn't even show the important moment when the boat is coming out of the water; i sure will remember to check the plug though!

I worry about people unhooking their boat on a roller trailer before they back their boat down into the water and being from a saltwater environment I wouldn't back my truck into the water like shown in the video. George W.

trailer to deep on retreive!! could not see fenders for proper alignment!!
