Veem Propeller

Propeller VEEM Engineering Group has been manufacturing propellers since 1956 and has delivered tens of thousands of propellers to meet the needs of users. With over 45 years of propeller manufacturing behind them, VEEM offers a complete range of products and services to the marine sector. VEEM leads the industry in the development of propeller design and manufacturing technology. Application of state-of-the-art technology ensures that VEEM propellers are of the highest possible performance and quality

VEEM’s patented revolutionary Interceptor Propeller allows changes to the pitch of the propeller at any time. VEEM has taken its ‘Splash and Forget’™ technology to the next level allowing every boat to be launched with the correct propeller every time.

Description

The Interceptor Propeller technology means that you can use all of the engine power that you paid for regardless of boat weight or operating environment. Now you can fish in cold and hot climates using the same propeller by simply changing the Interceptor strips.

  • The VEEM Interceptor Propeller™ system eliminates the many thousands of dollars wasted each time a boat needs to be lifted to have its propellers changed or modified.
  • Fuel consumption and the ‘Carbon Footprint’ of every boat can be minimized by ensuring the engines are operating exactly how they were designed to operate.
  • VEEM’s revolutionary Interceptor Propeller™ allows changes to the pitch of the propeller without removal from the boat and this can even be done underwater.
  • Excellent efficiency at high speed due to the camber effect of the Interceptor.
  • Easy installation of the Interceptor strip.
  • The strips are color coded to make identification easy.
  • The strips are made from a specially formulated high density polymer making them long lasting and cheap to replace when the boat is lifted for scheduled maintenance.
  • Specially designed entry point is provided at one end of the grove to facilitate the installation of the interceptor strip

Thank you for your comments,The interceptor is fitted on the pressure side (pitch face) of the propeller near the trailing edge of the propeller. The current iteration of interceptor has been developed to be fitted to propellers down to 20".Our commercial division has a strict policy to reply to any new enquiries within 48 hours.Peter Ivanac B.Eng(Nav. Can this be used in the smaller boat market also? For example a 21 foot IO or somthing simular.
