c, rose I receive my boat last week, it is one 34 feet. the firts test( the engine is new ), the consumption is arround 16,8 gallons ( twin ) per hour. But mu propeller is in 22P, I will change by test to 24P next week. I think that the result will be better. My aim is to reach 15 gallons per hour, in the same velocity ( 25 N Mille ).EF

to fabri. A boat about 5600 kg with two 5.0 mpi takes about 22 gal per hour / 3500 . I have a rinker 320. With volvo 5.0 gxi it will take no more than 18 gal and much less exhaust smell...

I will teste the new boat equiped with 5.0 MPI 260HP in a boat where the weight is arroud 5000kg full, with gas and water...I will post the result here to share with the communitee.thanks

Hi, i own a Byliner Trophy 2352 WA, equipped with 1 engine MCM 5.0L MPI - Alpha One Drive with 16" 4 blades alluminium prop.The boat weight is aroun 3000kg with gas tank full and 2 people on board. Max speed 30 knots @ 4850 rpm - cruise speed 21÷23 knots @ 3300÷3500 rpm - Fuel consumption at cruise speed 35÷40 l/h (9÷10,5 gph).

j solta: 2004 engine, high presure pump is out, the boat is dead-$2800 expense, the idle control valve is out, the boat is dead. is this a reliable engine?the next one is a volvo penta

I order for a boat with this engine in twin, but no one in BOAT TEST.COM wrote me about the question. please, if anybody have been made a test with the weight arround 5500kg 5.0 MPI steerndrive and have a idea the consumption, send me the answer because I am in a doubt..thanks

I hv a searay 230 sundancer 1994 with engine 5.7 ltr thunderbolt ignition serial 0f065076 and i would like replacement. which is the engine who fits perfectly and you reccomend to my boat ???? as well i woulkd like replacement of zdrive from Alpa One to Bravo three. Can thie change be done to my boat ... any help please ????!!!!!whom to contact for advise ???
