P. Brumfield - Just to let you know I am also on my 3rd heat exchanger. I purchased my 232 Baja Islander in 02. I am also curious to find out who else is having this problem.

I have a 496-375 horse and in a cobalt and it performs well but I am on my third heat exchanger.Each one lasting only two years. Has anyone elsehad this problem?

What is the cost of this in an HO version? Thinking of going this route if Axius and digital throttles are reasonably economical. Anyone have any guesstimates?

I really like this engine. I have not been the best boater when it comes to taking care of my engine, but this one just keeps on giving. Worth asking for when you get a new boat!
