Similar to the Tango but with two extra seats forward of the helm.
Key Features
The Tango provides “balanced performance.” That’s just the right combination of speed, handling and fuel consumption. Her deep-V hull and 175-hp engine provides the punch and power to let her slam through any chop. An oversized impeller provides needed torque and points those 175 horses in the right direction. A fully fiberglass layup—not the plastic laminates of many other jetboats—that includes layers of biaxial woven roving, ensure long life and supreme strength.

Quick and easily maneuverable.
On our test run the Tango topped out at 52 mph. She’s a lot of fun to drive and even though she may look like a toy, she’s really a speed demon.

Sugar Sand Tango 4+2 Captain's Report
The Tango’s 16’ length overall, and her deep-V hull help avoid the pancaking and bottoming out that jetboats with a less pronounced V are prone to. Her wide, flared bow deflects spray and helps increase visibility, especially into her standard side-mounted rear view mirror, that is so important when towing a skier. Yes, the Tango’s Mercury XR2 engine has all the necessary gumption to pull a skier. And the passengers aboard will be plenty comfortable also. There’s seating for three in her large forward cockpit, and those removable, patented, formed vinyl-covered, foam-filled seats include orthopedically-designed backrests to avoid the back injuries which can occur when you come down hard off a sea. Under each of those seats are stowage areas and there’s plenty more stowage throughout the boat. The easy-to-read instrumentation features large, backlit numbering and there’s even a pressure shower to wash you, and the boat, down. With a top end of 52 mph, you’ll get where you’re going quickly, too. At that speed you’ll travel 60 miles. Slow her down to a cruising rpm and she’ll stretch to almost 100 miles. If that’s not cruising in style, what is? This Tango dances just the way you want to.
