Like the silk thread through a $100 bill, innovation and versatility are woven throughout the Mirage. For instance; those cushions that flip down and over? While the white upsides are a top-quality easy-sitting—or lounging, when they are laid down as a sun lounge—vinyl, the flip sides are indoor/outdoor carpeted to serve as an easy-on-the-feet platform for when you’re fishing. What’s your bag, skiing or wakeboarding? The Mirage serves both passions. Of course it comes with a standard towing pylon for skiing, but if you’re a serious wakeboarder you need altitude. Okay, go for the Mirage’s optional 3-foot-high wakeboarding pylon. If you’re a little leery about jetboats because of weed-clogging problems, worry no more. The Mirage features Mercury’s automatic weeder system in its intake grate. Before weed buildup has a chance to clog the grate, or overwhelm the impeller, the grate automatically drops and runs the weed through the pump and out. This eliminates or reduces the need to clean the grates or stop what you’re doing to go into hard reverse to clear the jam. All that fun needs accompaniment. So tune in to the stereo with four waterproof speakers that comes standard with the Mirage. Is there anything you cannot do with this boat? Yeah, be bored.
