The 155CC is a handy little fishboat with the ride of a much larger center console.
Key Features
The benchseat forward of the console flips open to reveal a good-sized livewell. The entire helm console also folds forward for direct access to the wiring, steering, and electrical systems. At the helm, the backrest of the benchseat can be moved forward or backward for watching baits aft, and the seat sits atop a full-size Igloo cooler. Edgewater 155 CC Captain's Report
The ride of the 155 has to be experienced. The deep-V bottom does a nice job of slicing through chop, and the boat's foam-filled construction and 316 stainless steel fittings eliminate rattles and shakes of any kind.
While the 155 delivers an absolutely solid ride and feel, our 60-hp Yamaha 4-stroke needed some vertical alignment, as the propeller was prone to cavitating in tight turns and occasionally at speed when trimmed out. Also, the reach to the wheel and controls is a bit extended for most drivers, but the upside is there's plenty of legroom at the helm plus extra-wide walkways on either side of the helm so its easy to work a fish 360 degrees around the boat.
