Who knew that by removing a bulkhead and creating an open salon that the newly redesigned 5200 Sovran Salon would become a masterpiece in the yacht world? Tiara’s engineers used cutting edge design and feedback from their customers to truly innovate this beauty.

Cruise or Enjoy the Water

For a fun day on the water, the large swim platform can be accessed from the Plexiglass doors on either side of the transom and once there, you have several options of how to enjoy the water. First, you can go for a dip using the four-step integrated swim ladder. If swimming in not on your agenda, then hit a button and the power lift will open an extremely large storage trunk that can store a raft or tube. If that is still not enough, then use the optional jet ski winch to launch your ultimate water toy for fun and excitement. The winch system can also be easily removed, so that you can enjoy the entire platform.

After you’re done playing in the water, rinse off with the hot and cold transom shower which is located in the portside walkway. Also here are the raw water hooks ups and switch for the power trunk over here. On the starboard walkway is Cable Master system that helps reel in or put out your shore power cord. (An optional shore power hook up is on the bow of the boat, so you don’t have to drag the heavy cord across the dock).

Relaxing Alfresco

Enjoying the fresh air is done in style with the spacious conversational benches with a removable table. Oversized walkways let you easily make your way to the bow to soak up some rays on the oversized two person sun pad.

Great Salon for Entertaining

After a day of cruising and playing in the water with friends and family, accessing the salon is easy through the impressive heavy duty stainless steel door that can be locked into place when needed.

As you enter the salon, you immediately notice the entertainment center with hot and cold water sink, refrigerator and a Panasonic flat screen TV, that rises from inside the countertop with a push of a button.

The uncompromised L-shaped lounge on the port side has two inclining chairs and plenty of storage space under the rest of the raised lounge.

Power Sun Roof

If the flat screen TV was not enough to add to the luxurious features, then the overhead power sun roof with optional retracting shades will make you feel as if you’re in the middle of the Mediterranean. The large windshield can be vented with the push of a button to maximize air flow.

Sophisticated Helm

The helm is remarkably laid out with CAT monitors to help you keep an eye on the work horses down below. Separate shifters and throttles are on either side of the oversized wheel. Analog gauges, autopilot, and optional bow thruster controls can also be found at your immediate fingertips and there is also room for your favorite electronics cluster.

A clear view of the water is easy with the double-wide power seat with armrests that move forward or backward, and up or down. Since the driver is seated so high up, the flip down foot pedestals adds to your comforts while captaining the boat.

Delight to Cook

The large and spacious galley will allow the gourmet chef in you create masterpieces night after night. The Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer will keep vegetables fresh and your meats frozen until it’s time to prepare meals. The stainless steel sink and large three-burner stove are readily accessible. Lighter foods and canned goods can be stored in the integrated pull out shelving system. An optional garbage disposal and dishwasher can be added to complete the package.

When it comes time to serve the gourmet meal, a large teak table folds out in front of the U-shaped dinette that also has two additional mounted stools to give everyone extra room. Enjoy dessert or your favorite cocktail on the plush L-shaped lounge, or watch your favorite movie on the Panasonic flat screen TV.

Owner’s Stateroom

When it’s time for bed, the inviting master stateroom welcomes you. To your immediate right is a vanity with a mounted yet moveable stool. The large closet allows you hang up your garments and the overhead storage will hold all of your knick knacks. The island V-berth has a beautiful headboard and flat screen TV.

The private master head is accessed from the port side of the stateroom. The head features a separate shower with a seat, large vanity, sink and Vacuflush toilet.

Guest Stateroom

Your guests will sleep in comfort with the two twin berths that can be converted into a queen. There’s plenty of storage for overnight bags and a separate door to the main head. Your guests won’t have to worry about missing their favorite late night talk show with the flat screen TV in the room.

Main Cabin Head

The compact, yet functional head can be accessed from either the guest stateroom or the main salon area. There is a shower and a Vacuflush toilet behind a folding door, along with a rounded sink and vanity.

Power Plants

Accessing the engine is quick and painless thanks to dual entries. The one entry is located in the main salon floor, with the other, in the cockpit. The spacious engine room offers plenty of room to access the giant 800-hp CAT engines and master breaker panel. Tiara has done a nice job of giving the room a clean look with diamond-plated floors, completely gelcoating the engine room white, and labeling all of the wires. There is even room to store extra props and prop shafts in case of an emergency. With four blade props, you can reach a top speed of 37.6 mph turning 2331 rpm. The 5200 cruised most economically around 33.3 mph at 2100 rpm for a range of 332 miles.
