The bow offers seating for three, and there’s an optional Fish & Ski package comes with a trolling motor and swivel pedestal seat and a removable raised bow casting platform.
With her sharp entry, forward protruding bow and modified-V 19-degree transom deadrise, there’s not much that you can expect to run into out there that will keep you off the water. When you do come in for a landing, or to play on the hook, the 180’s integral swim platform includes a three-step, as opposed to the more often seen two-step, stainless steel ladder and grab rail for effortless boarding.
Performance and Ride
If you would like a little more punch than the 180’s standard 115-hp outboard can give you, you can upgrade to a 135-hp Merc or the clean running, fuel saving and extremely quiet 135-hp Mercury OptiMax outboard. To avoid messy bilges and mildew buildup, all the stowage areas are lined with easy-to-clean vinyl matting. If fishing is your bag and you don’t want to go for the optional fishing package, a 15-gallon live baitwell is standard as well as a built-in insulated cooler and a pair of stainless steel rod holders.
One fun option is the available top-of-the-line Clarion AM/FM digital cassette stereo with two waterproof speakers and a cockpit remote control. Fun and performance as well as great sound? That’s a combo you can’t beat.
