Triumph 210 CC Captain's Report

The Triumph 210 CC is designed with a comfort package and a fish package. The 210 CC is the “biggest of the toughest” with plenty of freeboard to keep you high and dry. Designed to offer more years of service with less hassle, the 210 CC takes the beating most boaters can offer whether it is a rough day on the water or a rough landing at dockside. The lightweight construction makes it easier to transport and more nimble on the water. The manufacturing process makes repairs simple and inexpensive. Triumph claims that while you shouldn’t try this at home, you could saw this boat in half, and still float on the halves! To beat that story, they can “weld” the two halves back together with a torch! Don’t try that with those fiberglass boats! Roplene also delivers a boat that is generally lighter than most boats of comparable length in the fiberglass lines. Lighter usually means you can go faster and further.

Our test boat kept us dry even with a tropical system moving in on our test area. The self-bailing cockpit quickly dispersed any water shipped aboard as we moved through the water. The 210 CC moved swiftly onto plane and handled very well at all test speeds. The trim tabs will certainly be more useful in the larger waves we can expect when moving off shore for the big fish. From the bow, we were impressed to find a dedicated anchor locker. Just behind the anchor locker was an additional 48-quart storage locker under the bow seats.

Our test boat had a cooler/seat combination attached to the optional T-Top with quick release pins for access to the oversized storage below. This huge 350-quart storage bin can be filled with gear keeping the deck clear. The center console with full standup windshield protected us from any spray while providing a comfortable position to pilot her through the chop. Molded in spaces for loose gear such as sunglasses, cups or binoculars was a nice touch. All controls were easily reached from the helm. All switches are protected by circuit breakers and a lockable electronics box is standard for protecting your important gear while you are away. The optional T-top gave us plenty of protection from the elements.

There are plenty of spaces for storing gear and four boxes for saving the best fish of the day. Be sure to secure the plugs in these fish boxes as they communicate directly with the bottom of the boat! A 120-quart bait well is conveniently placed behind the center console outfitted with a 750-gph pump to keep the bait lively and attracting the big fish. At the stern were molded in cushioned seating over the molded in 70 gallon fuel tank.

While the 210 CC is delivered with an impressive list of standard equipment, it does have a few options and accessories you can add. Among the options, you can add the electronics box, hydraulic steering, T-top with Rocket Launcher fishing rod holders and trim tabs. Among the accessories, you have a bimini top, bow dodger with drop curtain, a leaning post with backrest and a portable potty enclosure.

Whether you decide to relax in the sunshine near a beautiful beach or fish offshore, you will find the 210 CC very accommodating. The non-skid decking and stainless steel grab rails and bow rails making moving safely effortless. Molded in rod holders and the optional rocket launchers on the T-top make handling fishing duties easy. Whether you decide to use the 210 CC as a family boat or a fishing boat, you will be pleased with her performance.

The RopleneTM technology manufacturing process delivered a boat with a firm grip on the water while supporting the passengers and equipment in a smooth transit of the bay.

The 200-hp, Yamaha engine provided ample power to reach 30mph in 6.6 seconds while continuing to ride smooth and quiet. Fuel economy with this combination will allow you to run 265 miles at cruise to reach your favorite destinations or fishing holes. Top speed for our test boat was 50.6 mph at 5500 rpm and best cruise was 36.2 mph at 4000 rpm. Drawing only 14 inches, you'll find this boat in many areas the big guys can’t reach!

Our 210 CC test boat had very nice lines and its artwork made it look comfortable among the other boats moored the basin. As with all Triumph boats, the 210 CC carries a limited lifetime warranty. The 210 CC delivers a boat that is nimble on the water, easy to transport on land and fits more family boating budgets.
