Albemarle owners are people who love to fish, so you can well imagine that this 330XF comes rigged and ready for action. Designed to replace their venerable 32 footer, Albemarle added nearly two and a half feet to the beam of this latest model. And as families are becoming a bigger part of the purchase decision, the company paid the same attention to the boat’s interior. The result is a capable cruiser/sportfish that features almost everything a 40 footer has at a much lower price. That’s a win-win for customers looking to combine value and multi-tasking into their purchase decision.

With that trademark wide flared bow and high freeboard, clearly this boat is not made for hanging around inshore.
Fishing First
The Albemarle boat yard is stocked with people who love to fish so all the right ingredients have been poured into this package. Seating for seven, in addition to the forward facing companion, overlooks a large 76 sq ft cockpit that really seems too roomy to be in a 33 footer, and will easily allow 4 guys to work lines simultaneously. A 56 gallon (212 L) transom-mounted fishbox, as well as an insulated 57 gallon (215.8 L) in-deck fishbox and a 25 gallon (94.64 L) livewell/cooler should provide all the storage you’ll need for your catch and bait.
With equal parts comfort and fishing, this 330XF will keep a lot of people happy. Notice how the helm is raised for better visibility. The cabin sleeps 4 with the settee converting to a berth.
The tackle station includes storage, a sink, and an icebox or optional freezer, and also serves as a double wide, rear facing seat for watching the lines.
The helm is to starboard. The boat is delivered sans electronics, but installation is a breeze with easy access to the back of the panel, in addition to being pre-wired. The helm and companion seats are Pompanettes.
Accommodations
The cabin is accessed by a center mounted companionway. An optional teak and holly sole complements the teak cabinetry. To starboard are the ship's electrical panel and genset controls. The single enclosed head also lies to starboard, and forward is a dining area that converts to a queen sized berth. To port is a settee that converts to an over/under berth.
Beautiful joinery blends together with the teak and holly sole and Ultraleather upholstery to make a luxurious salon. Note how the forward dinette converts to a berth.
This is an example of a great use of space. The port settee converts to a Pullman over/under berth in a flash.
The flat screen TV is viewable from anywhere in the salon, and note how well Albemarle makes use of available space for storage.
Engine Space
Access to the engine room is via a hatch in the helm deck for easy daily checks. For more intensive maintenance, the entire helm deck electrically lifts to provide complete access. As for what’s inside, you have four choices, all twin diesel configurations. Choose from either a pair of Cummins MerCruiser Diesel QSB 5.9 425-hp or QSC 8.3 500-hp diesels, a pair of Caterpillar C7 460-hp, or Yanmar 480-hp diesels.
A freshwater cooled 9 kW diesel generator is standard as is the 50 amp dockside service, so providing electricity will be the least of your concerns on either hot or cold days.
Notice the hinged helm deck allowing complete access to the engine compartment below. The dual engine controls allow the helmsman to maneuver the boat while facing the lines.
