The SL 242 was released as a late 2008 entry. For 2009 Four Winns has added some upgrades that should increase its popularity.

Real wood accent panels on the helm and wood tilt wheel add a great look that won’t fade away as woodgrain plastic ones do. I reviewed one with additional teak accents on the gunwales and a teak insert on the large swim platform. The aft sunpad converts to an aft facing seat at anchor and a removable railing fits along the trailing edge of the swim platform where you can mount a grill, cutting board or other rail mount equipment at anchor or at the docks.
