Glastron has a new queen of the line now, the GS 289 Sport Cruiser. This all-new model is the largest and most luxurious twin cabin boat Glastron has ever produced, according to the company. She has Alphastone counters, leatherette upholstery and more room than I expected below. You have everything you need for a weekend aboard, away from the hustle and noise of your neighborhood. Performance? Well, how about just under 42 mph with a 300-hp Volvo 5.7? Considering this boat weighs 6500lbs before you add gas, water, ice and goodies, it has the power and the performance. Topside she has lots of stainless steel where others might try to save using plastic. Snap-in carpet keeps the deck looking snappy and the wet bar has a standard refrigerator to keep the snacks and cold drinks ready.
