Stylish Performer with Super Amenities
By Capt. Bob Smith
For 2007, the 370 Super Sport has a few changes, and the first was evident as I approached the boat. The Black Cherry Metallic Imron Flagship Graphics on the side are phenomenal and make this model stand out from far away.
The spacious bow includes four Bomar hatches to allow fresh air and light into the salon and cabin below. A concealed electric windlass with chain counter and 150’ of chain and polished anchor are on the bow. If you like to lay out at anchor, the bow offers a great place to stretch out.
Spacious Cockpit for Family Fun
The cockpit has a stainless steel full framed windshield with walkthrough and tinted glass. Overhead is a standard radar arch with mast light. In the cockpit, the helm is accented with Burlwood panels and a brushed metallic finish. Livorsi illuminated gauges have chromed bezels. A Raymarine depth sounder and ST-60 digital depth display is standard on this model. The Dino tilt steering has a mahogany and leather wheel. A stereo remote is at the wheel as well as an iPod/MP3 port for your own mix of tunes underway. The helm has twin command seating with a portside lounger seat, which encourages more company at the helm.
The U-shaped aft lounge is fairly large and features a dual height table which converts easily to become another sun pad. You’ll be able to assemble sandwiches and drinks in a pinch with the molded in wet bar with integrated sink, Corian countertop, standard stainless steel refrigerator, and Igloo cooler. Custom patterned cockpit carpet protect your feet on hot days and a standard bimini top provides protection from the elements. The extended swim platform gives you plenty of room to relax with your legs in the water.
The engine room has a motorized lift, courtesy lighting and automatic fire suppression system. With gas installations, a 7.3KW Kohler low-CO emissions genset is standard. With diesel models, a 7.6 KW Westerbeke genset is standard.
Comfortable Overnights
The cabin of the 370 Super Sport provides a great respite from the sun, and a place to relax and sleep overnight. The salon has Ultraleather sofa seating with a solid wood dual-height table and filler cushions. The entertainment center includes a 15” LCD TV/DVD. Keep your cool with a 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit, and crank up the music with the Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with 10-disc CD changer and iPod docking station. The aft cabin stateroom has a queen sized berth with storage, TV receptacle and individual reading lights. This is also the perfect place for the kids.
