The port double lounge bench is good for relaxing or sunbathing. It’s a nice feature because you can do all that and still keep the driver of the boat company.
Take a break from the wheel and join the fun.
The 27PC offer a double helm seat for added comfort while driving, or for the navigator in the crew to help read maps or watch out for debris or pots in the water. The cockpit is good-size and there’s
Style and innovative technology makes the 27PC stand out amongst the fleet. She’s a cruiser with lots of seating for family and friends and is great for weekend getaways. The cockpit is spacious for an afternoon of sunbathing or champagne toasts and al fresco dining. Her 9’7” beam gives her the width she needs to be a stable ride out in open seas.
Her cockpit has ample seating for 8 or 9 people, and her double helm seat is a nice added feature, which gives the driver more room or allows a spouse or friend to help navigate or watch out for lobster pots. To port there’s a double lounge seat that makes a good sun pad. In the aft cockpit filler cushions can also be added to create one big sun pad for the tanner in the crew. From the helm there’s good visibility and all the gauges and throttles are within easy reach. Instruments on the helm include a digital depth sounder, Ritchie compass, fingertip boat leveler switches and Dino steering wheel. A GPS navigational system is an option on this boat. The helm also has a tinted, curved glass windshield to help block the wind and deflect some of the sun from you eyes. The radar arch is also a Formula trademark that really adds some style to the boat, but also serves a purpose. When it’s time to snap up the canvas in times of rough weather or rain it's a simple task.
The 27PC has an integrated swim platform that is large enough for three adults to sit side-by-side while getting ready for a swim or while putting their gear on. It also has a concealed 316L stainless steel swim ladder for easy reboarding.
In the cockpit forward Formula has placed an integral step up to the bow for easy access when anchoring or docking. This is an innovative feature which makes life a bit easier on your crew and yourself if you’re out alone. Moving up towards the bow there’s good non-skid and enough railing to make you feel a bit more secure up forward. When it’s time to stop for the day and have some lunch or overnight after a long day’s journey, you’ll find the anchor davit concealed in a fiberglass locker at the bow.
Stepping down below you enter a small haven of cozy accommodations. Upon entering you have the galley to port complete with Corian trim countertops, refrigerator, stainless steel sink, storage lockers and demand water system. The UltraLeather U-shaped forward dinette lounge can be converted into a double berth by removing the dinette table and adding the filler cushions. There’s also an aft stateroom with a double berth and a privacy curtain. A cedar-lined hanging locker is also an unexpected touch aboard this 27-footer. A full head is on the starboard side of the boat and has a molded fiberglass vanity, stainless steel sink, and shower.
There’s good lighting down below through the three Bomar cabin venting hatches with screens and the four port lights. For entertaining there’s a Kenwood AM/FM CD stereo with high power output.
All in all the 27PC is a beautiful boat both inside and out that handles like a charm and speaks for itself. She’s a great day cruiser or overnighter that comes with many standard features and thought-through details.
