Volvo Penta 5.7GXiE (320-hp)
The 5.7 L GXiE and GXiCE versions of the 5.7 L Gi base engine are electronically-tuned models designed to have a peak output of 320-hp at 5200 rpms. This 6% increase in horsepower is not only useful at the wide-open throttle settings but also gives more torque throughout the rpm range. The "E" stands for EVC digital control and the "C" designates "catalyst.”
Power steering is fitted as standard. As an option, the 5.7 liter engine can be obtained with catalytic converters which significantly reduce the amount of harmful emissions. The catalyst version is required in the US. This engine also has some different internal mechanical components.
Power steering and trim are standard and they are available with SX or DP drives.
